Once again, New York is getting a pathetically small share of federal stimulus funds for rail projects. Can't you hear that steel rail humming (as Woody Guthrie used to sing about hobos)? That's the congressional delegation's lullaby.

You didn't hear?
NY lost 4 house seats all to people opposed to accepting stimulus money because it "expands the deficit". Whether those policy points hold up w. their desire to "bring home the pork" or get re-elected, Lord only knows.

Hey Matt. But the current NY delegation, which has lamentably failed to get the state's share of rail infrastructure, while instead sending money to bail out the bloated NYS education system, is overwhelmingly Democratic.
