Does "religious freedom" give adoption agencies run by, say, Protestants or Muslims the right to refuse adoptions to Catholic couples?

Don't cry for Carrie Prejean. She's in a business that thrives on PR and she's gotten 1000 times more publicity than the woman who actually won the pageant (whose name I bet you don't know; I sure don't). She's making the rounds on the speaking circuit. She's even on Larry King tonight. Not bad for someone whose free speech has supposedly been stifled.

She still has been subjected to vicious personal attack by mainstream media for expressing her opinion. I guess I have a broad concern about restrictions on free speech not necessarily emanating from the government, e.g. campus or office speech codes, and defining as hate speech whatever offends people.
