I read Robin Cooper's story too. I was psyched! I have already applied at GlobalFoundries for an advertised position. Now that the state is going to save the company from the economic development commission, I stand a chance of getting in. The down side is that by the time the facility is up and running, I am going to be thinking about retiring. hahahahahaha. heheheehheeheee. thinking about retiring, yes. but it is unlikely that I will be able to retire until I am finally so decrepit that I have to be stored in a "nursing" home until my expiration date comes up.

This really feels like the state is chasing after bad money.

Its not enough to give them sweetheart deals & tax breaks, the state can't even hire people to construct the bloody place & get it finished on time. They have to spend yet more money taking command & in doing it themselves.

Everything about this deal should be heavily investigated by someone when it finally gets done.
