Moynihan Station

The redevelopment of the Farley Post Office (to which my grandfather Joe Gaffney commuted for many years on the F train from Brooklyn) into Moynihan Station is apparently -- finally -- a go, for which the still underrated governor deserves credit. There is also some other movement toward rebuilding New York state's passenger rail system, despite the pathetically small share of stimulus money it received for choo-choos.
