The feds could fly people to *all* the military bases in the USA, in *all* the states, and *require* the each of the local hospitals in each of the states to take in some reasonable number of refugees! Even if they had to be on gurneys in the corridors until beds opened up, they'd be better off than lying in the streets of Haiti--as broken and sick, not to mention starved and dehydrated, as they still are THREE WEEKS after the earthquake.

Well it's nice to know at least Haitians can get medical care in the US without going bankrupt. Maybe one day Americans can get that privilege.

What's more outrageous is that a number of flights from groups like Doctors Without Borders have been denied landing at the PaP airport.

Bottlenecks of incoming flights at the one small airport are understandable. It is not acceptable for U.S. hospitals to be turning away patients.
