I caught more than a whiff of the sulphur back when I was playing Norma Rae with the clerical-union-busting Professional Staff Congress, the faculty union at CUNY. Good Democrats / Liberals / even Socialists, all.
Yesterday, here in West Virginia, prominent Union Busters threw the people a Labor Day party.
On a mountaintop removal reclamation site.
And told the people that environmentalists are depriving them of jobs. Whereas the fact is that the coal industry and the timber industry in this state import illegal Mexican labor.
