New York's Brave New World

So now the state will be the first in the nation to use public funds to pay women for donating eggs to create human embryos (i.e. their children) to be killed in the course of medical research. And the sole opponent of that policy on the Empire State Stem Cell Board Ethics Committee, the Rev. Thomas Berg, is mischaracterized by The New York Times as being someone "who opposes stem cell research," when in reality he supports the many types of it that do not involve killing human embryos.
